I Went to see it last night, it was fantastic, full of action and a great story, Mel Gibson at his best! What Did You Think?

Mel Gibson really made a comeback with this movie, seeing as how his last was in 2005. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and I was completely into the movie! I loved every bit of it, though I did cry a little when the daughter died. That was so sad, even though I was expecting her to die to get the plot moving. A few parts I jumped as well, but what I didn't understand is why he stopped hearing his daughter's voice partway throughout the movie. He heard her voice a couple of times and then never heard her again, although he did imagine her in the bathroom when he was shaving. The only other problem I had with this movie was the character of the missing mother. In the beginning, I thought Mel Gibson might be a single parent either because the mother died during child birth or she just wasn't ever part of the picture after she gave birth. It never mentioned that they had divorced, so I assumed she was dead, but then while Mel Gibson was shaving and his daughter was mimicking him, he said her mother would kill him if she got shaving cream in her hair again. So, what ever happened to the mother? They could have at least mentioned a brief line or two about her to solve that loose end. Other than those two things, the movie was excellent and I'd give it a 9/10!
