Directing IS Jay Roach (Austin Powers films The Three Among Others) Who gets out of the Way and stars Steve Carell and lets Paul Rudd, With A little help from Zach Galifianakis, try to pull it off.
What Conrad Does not bet one Speck Is That Will Never Leave HIM alone, first off thinking The Dinner Is A Day Earlier Than It Is. Begin this horrible series of events for Conrad That puts in jeopardy Everything from history to history job girlfriend. Conrad aussi find out more Than he wants to know about Speck. For example, he and Work for the IRS has a boss, Therman (Galifianakis), Who is Himself plenty weird and has a strange hold over Speck.
To be honest Dinner for Schmucks Is One of Those films The Audience Will Find hysterical or just plain stupid. The labor problem is it goes on at least 20 minutes too long With A Final That Seems To Never End. Before Thats the screenplay Consists of one bad situation to Leading Even bigger one year, making all Conrad's life hell. The hook, of course IS, Speck That Is A Nice Guy. Sure, history hobby With The mice Is A little creepy, though The Display Using The mice are very inventive. There Is a moral to all of this, and yes, learn Conrad Does That getting the big office & the promotion, and stepping it isn't the Way to Someone get it, that's not to Why the Hearing Will Go to schmucks - it's the laughs.
Everyone Involved Cdn thank Carell, Because He Does just about everything to make this work, and think-When The audience, well, that's enough - Along Comes Galifianakis. As for Rudd, he's good as usual here As The straight man to Carell, goal is not it time he got his own starring film?
The director lets Carell Roach / Rudd do chemistry Most Of The Work, and for The Most part that's enough. Be Warned, though, Everything Here Is Played very broadly, The More The Better outrageous. Some Will find it funny, Will Others think it's a waste.
