blueinu26 it's been my experience that catfish if properly cleaned and cooked is all mighty tasty reguardless of the size. Come catch a mess with me and bring some beer for the fish fry.

True. what the guides did was tie the fish up behind base camp boat on a 6 foot line, where theres a good current. Tied up, the fish has to work to keep from drowning, they keep him tied up for 2-3 days where he works some fat off, so they say, then they clean him to feed many guides and nativesr. They do not waste anything on the river

@aotearoastyle I dont overfish sir. I follow all the regulations set by the DNR. Ive yet to reach my daily bag limit. And the more fresh caught fish i eat, the less i buy from the store, which is ocean fishing where there are issues with overfishing.

@aotearoastyle Banning people from keeping fish is pretty damn lame, but there's at least a tiny bit of noticeable logic to it. Banning people from fishing altogether is literally a declaration of war.
