ok we're in 2010 in the digital age, but for some reason for me, the graphics and effects of the '82 version are more vivid and pleasant to watch than today's digital version, which looks just plain, boring and for some reason more unreal/fake. It was the same case also with the newer Star Wars movies compared to the old ones. Maybe I'm getting bored of the digital green screen overuse, and like more the blue screen with miniature models and older film techniques.
