I'd nix a Safety 1st seat. Contrary to the name, they're not all about safety... I'd go with a Britax. The new Marathons are AMAZING. They have a steel frame, the straps are nearly impossible to twist, which would distribute the force of a crash across your little one's body instead of in four or five points. The seat is absolutely fantastic... It's definitely worth checking out. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth EVERY penny...

I drive a 2001 Grand Am and I Have Been Debating Which one car seat to purchase. I really like The Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite purpose I am wondering if it was Will rear facing. Has anyone ever Tried it Before and What Do You Think Of The Car Seat Itself?
