@lolzor523 go read IMDB's parental guide violence and gore section. suposedly (i have not seen the movie) it isnt the entire movie but the scene where he cuts his arm off to save his life is the most intense lifelike thing ever. people thought he really did that shit.

This is the best movie I have seen in a few years. I read the book back in 2005? So I Knew what was going to happen. The director did a outstanding job. If you are a outdoorsman ora film buff see the film!!!

Thanks for the review Richard. Can't wait to see the movie. James Franco has always been a good actor, very intense and emotionally expressive however he has not always been given the chance to be the main character so this movie was a welcome change. Unfortunately this movie will only hit my country's shores in March 2011. How I envy you guys in the US.
