Q: While you Attended The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, What Kind of Student Media Were You Involved in?

Greenberg: I Was not Involved Nearly as I wish I Had Been in several activities. Now, When I Was in School There Was A Mandated internship program and so i did a year internship at The Jackson City Patriot Which Was a newspaper in Jackson, Mich.. Goal That Was It. I Did not Work for the student radio station The Student paper gold and I regret enormously Both Of Those.

Q: Can you describe a typical work day in The Life of Mike Greenberg?

Greenberg: Well, today for example. I Started at 3:45 am with My alarm going off. I got up and cam to work a little after 5 am and Mike and I sat and staff and o Went over a couple of ideas. Then There Were A Few Things We Had To pre-record radio and TV for Both. After That, We Did The Show 6 am to 10 pm And Then I had a meeting SportsCenter Which I just cam out of now. We Met to Discuss What We Were Going to do it this evening SportsCenter. And Then I Will Spend The Rest of the day writing Before I anchor SportsCenter this evening from 6 pm to 7 pm So I'll leave here about 7 o'clock and go try and grab myself about six hours of sleep to be back here tomorrow .

Q: How Much IS work Involved in running a single show of "Mike & Mike in the Morning"?

Greenberg: That's tough to say. I think a good talk show is Never ending. Most listeners Mike and Know That I Will not only to cover sports We Will Discuss Often events take place That in Our Daily Lives. So, In Some Ways You Can Say My Entire life is show prep. Certainly it Takes Being aware of Things. My work IS Mainly constituted of Things Would MOST people do anyways. You know, watching games, watching SportsCenter, getting on the Internet and Keeping Up With the news of the day, and listening on the radio. I think a good talk show Is Always On The Lookout for new material, and it really IS, In Some Ways, a 24 / 7 kind of job.

Q: What is your favorite topic to cover in sports?

Greenberg: Well, the National Football League overwhelmingly IS The Most Popular Sport in America and The One That The Biggest number of people are passionate about and interested in.. So, it Almost Does not make "any difference What My personal favorite sport to cover is. But I Happen to Be an avid golfer and a golf fan, so if it WAS up to me, i would be happy to talk about golf.
