Have You Ever Seen A Case Where Someone Was A Top Student In High School But Ended Up Being Nothing In Life

I Was so shocked when i saw a train Honor graduate from my high school. Top student, Went off to Ivy year and ended up flunking out. He Was a straight A student and I Believe the guy Graduated valedictorian too. Now the guy IS broke and I can not believe it, People Have Told Me It Is not "uncommon".
