When Faster Pussycat first came out to the public through 1992, Brent, Taime,eric, and Greg were the stars of the band. when people talked about Faster Pussycat who didn't know who they were, they mentioned the think guitar player with the long black hair.

All about image my ass. The first and second FP albums were downright classics. Every single song on the first one is damn near genius on a "non-complicated" level, and it came from every member of the band. The Biggest problem WAS the image ... they looked like most bands of the time so they didn't visually stand out, which meant people were too busy focusing on bands like GnR to actually pay close enough attention to FP. The original FP was a great great great x100 band. Musically.

What an idiot! Pick up any Faster Pusscyat Cd and you will see that Brent wrote 18 songs on 3 records.

One more thing look at Mike Patton from Faith No More, Hes had a successful career with Mr. Bungle, Lovage, Tomahawk. What if he put Manson makeup on and hired a bunch of guys and called himself Faith No More? its dumb and talentless

I'm sorry, I stand corrected. Brent only CO-WROTE 11 songs out of the 34 according to ASCAP. So not 3, but still he only contributed to the writing credits on a third of their music. Taime at least co-wrote (many times he was the sole writer on) 33 of 34 songs listed ("You're So Vain" excluded of course). Look it up on Ascap dot com slash ACE if you don't believe me. Search by artist. It's all there, speaking of documented history.

Like Motley Crue they were all equally famous... In Magazines there were pin ups of Brent, Taime, greg, and Eric each.. Alot of girls perfered Greg over Taime or brent and vice versa just like Motley crue with Vince, tommy, mick, nikki. Yes this band was all about image.

And they wrote the music together, Brent and gregs guitar playing made the sound of faster pussycat. This was a band. Taime makes it sound like hes Elton John and they were his back up band.

Nobody in Faster Pussycat has recieved royalties in 15 years. ask ascap and greg Steele where the money is?

As for writing credits any FP fan can see many of the songs are not on that list.

The third record is out

Pretty sure ASCAP would be more accurate than the cd booklet, especially considering ASCAP is the company that pays royalties. If Brent co-wrote more songs, he would have fought for those rights at the time they were recorded, & it would be listed there. Not to argue, but if anyone is an idiot, it's the guy you see in the mirror every day. If you feel like you "won" the battle over publishing credits, then go to sleep content in knowing you are superior. That is all.
