i was watching the movie on the Internet Towards the End and Where the girls are goin To The bailarena thing and theyre waiting for gru hes comin to the Earth & the old man yells "can u hear me?" or Something Like That But Then it looks like it cuts off and he ends up chasing Thing In The flat vector and the girls are Suddenly In a ball thing? Someone cannot explain this scene ????????

I saw it opening day. Movies are always a little blurry in my mind unless I've seen it a lot.
So, what I can remember; I'm not sure how far you want the scene description to go, so stop if you think it's spoiling.
Gru steals the moon and heads back to Earth to see the recital.
[The old man is asking if Gru can hear him because they found out that the shrink machine effects wear off after a while.Meaning the Moon that Gru stole will soon become full size again.]
He gets to the recital and it's already over and the place is empty. He finds a sheet of paper on the ground that the kids wrote, saying a seat is reserved for him.
On the back, he finds Vector's symbol. (Vector kidnapped the kids).
He goes after Vector in the rocket ship.
Vector has the kids in a glass ball to hold them hostage.
Vector insists he won't give up the kids unless Gru gives him the Moon.
So, Gru gives Vector the Moon, and Vector keeps the kids.
The kids try to warn Vector when the Moon begins to start taking it's original size.
As the moon gets larger, Vector has trouble controlling his ship. The Moon eventaully breaks the ball the girls are being held in.
Gru (or the minions or the old guy) gets a rope connected from their ship to Vector's ship.
[It's a little hard to remember the specifics.]
The door on Vector's ship opens, so Gru tells the kids to jump.
The two youngest girls jump, while the oldest stays behind, too afraid too.
Gru gives a dramatic line saying he'll catch her and never let go.
Something of that nature. The girl finally jumps, but Gru misses her and she plumets through the air. Gru jumps out after her (or maybe he fell when he tried to catch her).
But right when you think they've lost all hope, Gru catches onto the girl and the minions catch onto Gru.
After that?
The Moon ends up full size, shot back to space along with Vector.
It's all quite a blur really.
