@alexsthirdlimb Caesar haters typically mistook their everyday stomping bosses as Caesar. The fact is, Caesar led his people into victory while the other lousy leaders trying to mimic him caused disasters one after another. So, if someone who got the right to choose a leader but followed the wrong one, he/she might consider to SLAP himself/herself. Leave Caesar alone.

Why Caesar got to stomp? Because Brutus and the rest surely could not have defeated the barbarians with the little nice talk about the Republic. Slaves would always think they're as great as Caesar, but they're just not. The better they think they are, the more suffer ahead they'll have.

@alexsthirdlimb Also just one more thing becaue of Caesar naming his nephew his heir so he could improve on his actions he also created a primitive form of fire fighters . I heard that . Also to anyone who would like to comment I would appreciate if there was no cussing and cursing . If I'm wrong in some ways fine . But I do know that the people loved Caesar absolutely . The plebs loved him . They didnt care if he had absolute power they just wanted things to change and they wouldve .

His actions led to naming his nephew Augustus his heir and with that Augustus brought forth the Pax Romana or "Roman Peace" . In doing so he ended the carnage of the Republic which was then ruled by the mob . At the time of the Republic there was no police force in a sense of what we have today . Of course there were soldiers but at that time after a battle the soldiers were usually disbanded to their homes and only called on during war . But Augustus looked to keep a professional army all year.

@alexsthirdlimb The people loved Caesar because even though he gained absolute power over them and the Republic . He actually looked to improve the living standards and rights of Jews living in Rome at the time . In actual fact when Caesar was murdered the only ones to shout freedom and liberty through the streets were the murderers themselves . The people were shocked and saddened because Caesar had indeed improved their lives . Its why after his death he was glorified as a deity .

really know who caesar was. On more than many occasions he pursued piece and attempted to prevent blood-shed, but because of pompey and his allies, ended up causing several wars that seriously undermined roman millitary strength. You dont believe me? After reading and researching, you will be lead to the same conclusion.
