3 * (s + c) = 60
4 * (s - c) = 32
solve the system of equations:
3s + 3c = 60
3c = 60 - 3s
c = 20 - s
substitute 20 - s for c in second equation:
4s - 4(20 - s) = 32
4s - 80 + 4s = 32
8s = 112
s = 14km/hr
c = 20 - 14 = 6km/hr
