Introduction: One Of The Main Problems in forensic medicine Is The Time Of The exact Determining of death. There Is an Understanding That There Is No universal method, solve this problem Which Cdn. That Is Why Finding new methods and informative morphological gold Indicateurs Is an important task. Little attention has been "Paid up to the time That On The morphological Characteristics of the Human Pineal Gland in The Scientific forensic literature. The 24 hour variation in The Functions Of The pineal gland and the Secret of melatonin are studied in details to There Is Still Lack of Data with Respect To The morphological variation In The Structure of the human pineal gland in the Light and Dark Periods of the day .

Aim: We Hypothesised That in relation to The 24 hour variation in The Functions Of The pineal gland Some daily variation in morphological structures icts Can Be expected. With The loved to find morphological Indicators That Can Be Used For Determining The Time of Death for The Needs Of The forensic practice weekends studied if There Are 24-hour exchange In The Structure of the human pineal gland in the Light and Dark Periods of the day .

Methods: We studied human pineal glands taken from 79 Deceased (58 men and 21 women), of the Age Between 0 and 82 Years Who Died In The période september-december 2002. 37 pineal glands taken from Were People Who Died In The Light period "of the day, & the material it WAS fixed average 189.28 hours after death. 42 pineal glands taken from Were People Who Died in the dark period "of the day & the material fixed WAS 137.93 hours after death. After Taking the pineal glands, Their length, maximum width, weight and density measured.We registered Were The existence or absence of pinealocytes With dark cytoplasm, Which Is an indicator of melatonin secretion for in the dark period "of the day.

Results: The parameters of pineal glands taken from The People Who Died in the Light of the day Were période AS FOLLOWS: length (n = 31) 8.23 2.52 range / 3-13 / mm width (n = 31) 6.13 1.86 range / 3-11 / mm, weight (n = 27) 127.85 82.67 range / 3-380 / mg; density (n = 27) 3.24 3.47 range / 0, 20 to 9.8 / kg/m3. The respective parameters Of The pineal glands taken from People Who Died in the Light of the day Were période: length (n = 40) 8,213,05 range / 2-17 / mm width (n = 40) range 6,321,9 / 1 0.2 to 10, 14/mm; weight (n = 36) 144 82.82 range / 2-355 / mg; density (n = 36) range 3,213,42 / 0.71 to 9.6 / kg/m3.

From the Cytological examination Of The pineal glands taken from People Who Died in the dark period "of the day / n = 27 / single (40.74%) gold Situated in small groups (59.28%) dark pinealocytes Were found. They Were 22% in SCT in 44% of moderate quantity and in33% abundant. Some 15% In The Material With WAS and poor in 85% with High celularity.For Those Who Died in the Light of the Day période / n = 27 / No. pinealocytes With dark cytoplasm Were found. In 26% the material WAS With poor and in 74% with High celularity.

Conclusions: In the present study found no difference Between the anatomy WAS Characteristics of pineal glands taken from When Comparing Those People Who Died in the Dark and the Light Periods of the day. The Cytological examination showed pinealocytes That Were With dark cytoplasm only found in pineal glands taken from Those People Who Died in the dark period "of the day. The continuation of the Present Would Provide more study results, Which Can Be Used, pour la Determination of the exact time of death in relation to whether it has Happened In The Dark Light golden period "of the day.
